Hole By Hole

Hole #1

This long par 5 that dog legs to the right does not require a long tee shot, but accuracy is the key.  The fairway is tree lined and narrows as you get closer to the green.  The green is guarded by a sand bunker left of the green and waste areas to the right of the green.

Hole #2

A straight forward par 3.  What you see is what you get.  The green has a sand bunker to the front left and to the right, a large pine tree which may come into play depending on pin placement and tee placement.

Hole #3

This long par 4 from the blue tee is a very intimidating tee shot out of a very tight shoot.  But even from the white and red tee's, a very tough hole.  Tee shot must be long and straight to avoid lateral water hazards on the right and left.  About 200 yards off the tee to the green is a small elevated green with bunkers on the left and right side.

Hole #4

Not a very long hole, but you must position yourself for your second shot because of a water hazard that extends 70 yards from the green.

Hole #5

This hole has a slight dog leg left.  Long hitters may consider getting home in two.  To do this, you must position yourself either center or right center for your best shot.  There is a bunker left of the green.

Hole #6

The toughest hole on the course.  From the tee, a long straight tee shot is critical to reach this green.  You want to avoid going right where there is a sand waste area.  The green is small with a sand bunker to the left and water hazard to the right.  I might add, this hole is usually into the wind.

Hole #7

Off the tee you have a water hazard in front and a lateral hazard running down the right side of the fairway.  The hole dog legs to the left.  A tee shot of over 200 yards must be played perfectly or you run out of fairway which is tree lined.  The green is almost completely surrounded by bunkers.

Hole #8

This hole has a very long green from front to back.  To the right and left of the green there is a sand bunker.  Even further to the right is a lateral water hazard which is tough to see from the tee.

Hole #9

This hole brings you back to the Club House.  Off the tee you must clear a berm that extends across the fairway.  Left and right of the fairway there are waste areas.  To the green, there are bunkers left, right, and back.  On the tee there is also a phone and menu to order lunch to-go for your convenience.

Hole #10

This hole is all about position.  From the white tee you only want to hit about 190 degrees to the center of the fairway.  A shot further than that will have to deal with deep fairway bunkers.  This will leave you a good wedge to the green.  This green is very small and the bunkers are very deep.

Hole #11

This short par 5 is very reachable for long hitters, but your drive must be very straight because the trees to the right and left of the fairway are very thick.  To the left of the green is a sand bunker and a waste area to the right.

Hole #12

Don't let this hole fool you.  Hit the green!  If you don't, there is a grass bunker to the left, a deep sand bunker to the right, and off the back is very steep.

Hole #13

The second hardest hole on the course.  The hole is tight and has a very long sand waste area traveling down the right side.  Your tee shot must be long and straight or slightly left to the green.  This green is very small and has a sand bunker in the back with a deep valley.  Balls will fall into the valley.

Hole #14

This hole is not very long and your tee shot must clear a large 160 yard waste area.  You can't see the landing, but a checkered flag will direct you to the center of the fairway.  The ideal tee shot is 180-210 toward the flag.  The hole then dog legs to the right.  The green has a bunker to the left side.

 Hole #15

No matter what tee you play, this is the toughest par 3 on the course.  The green is very small and well protected by water hazards front, left, and right.  There are also sand bunkers left and right.

Hole #16

Straight hole, but there are water hazards that extend across the fairway.  The first is visible about 100 yards from the tee.  The second is about 220 yards from the white tees and is not visible.  The ideal tee shot is about 180-210 off the tee.  Long hitters might try to cross the second hazard.  To the green, bunkers are left and right of the green.

 Hole #17

Tough driving hole.  To reach the fairway you must carry at least 170 yards and very straight.  Down the left side there is a very long waste area.  On the right, the trees are very dense.  As you approach the green, the fairway tightens.  The green is elevated with bunkers front, left, and right.

Hole #18

A great finishing hole.  Very intimidating from the tee.  You must carry at least 190 yards from the white tee just to get to the fairway.  The hole then dog legs to the left down the hill to the green with bunkers left, right, and rear.
